The following events are occurring in the Gates-Chili area on Wednesday, Feb. 22:

9 a.m., Computer Support Specialist Training: Center for Workforce Development, Rochester Tech Park, Building 9, 160 Wallace Way, Rochester. The Center for Workforce Development will be offering a computer support specialist training program, a skill that would help you get a job fast. 9 a.m., "Reflections on Culture and Memories Lost" exhibit: B.T. Roberts Memorial Hall Art Gallery — Northeastern Seminary, 2265 Westside Drive, Rochester. Alberto Rey's collection of paintings has multiple themes. His current work uses nature and painting as a metaphor for human life and death. For details, call 585-899-3271.

9 a.m., Rochester Finger Lakes Regional Exhibition: Rochester Institute of Technology, 73 Lomb Memorial Drive, Rochester. This middle and high school exhibition, now through Feb. 29, hosted by RIT's Bevier Gallery, features works from 40 area schools, including those from Webster Schroeder, Rush-Henrietta and Wayland-Cohocton. The exhibit's artwork will also include a film by Linh Truong, a former student at the school of the arts. Admission is free. For more information, call the Bevier Gallery at 585-475-2646.

11 a.m., "High Definition: Students Defining Art": Cultural Life Center, Roberts Wesleyan College, 2301 Westside Drive, Rochester. The Davison Gallery at Roberts Wesleyan College will be hosting an all-student art exhibit. This year's juror is Shawn Dunwoody, an artist and director of Four Walls Gallery. 6:30 p.m., "The Basics of Memory Loss, Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease" Summit at Brighton: 2000 Summit Circle Drive, Rochester. Alzheimer's Association offers free educational program. Registration is required. Call 800-272-3900, or register online at www.alz.org/rochesterny.

7 p.m., Recovery Inc. Meets: St. Pius Tenth School, 3000 Chili Ave., Gates. Join the Recovery's practical coping techniques. This can help people struggling with depression, anxiety, anger or stress. Visit www.recovery-inc.org for more information, or call 585-234-2434.

7 p.m., Larry Towell, slideshow with live music: Visual Studies Workshop, 31 Prince St., Rochester. Magnum photographer Larry Towell will be having a folk music performance and a photography slideshow. He has recently done photographing in Afghanistan, and has published monographs on the Gaza Strip and the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
