Monroe County's annual “Movies in the Parks” series will return for the 2012 summer season
Ten motion pictures will grace the screens at Ontario Beach, 4650 Lake Ave., and Highland Park Bowl, 171 Reservoir Ave. The event is sponsored by the county's parks department along with Highland Hospital and Frontier Communications.
Movies at the Beach is a free event at Ontario Beach. It runs every Tuesday evening from July 10 to Aug. 7, 2012. Pre-show starts at 8:30 p.m., with movies starting at dark. The schedule of movies:
July 10 – Jaws (PG)
July 17 – Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol (PG-13)
July 24 – Super 8 (PG-13)
July 31 – Captain America: The First Avenger (PG-13)
Aug. 7 – Sherlock Holmes: Game of Shadows (PG-13)
Movies in the Bowl is also free and runs every Thursday evening from July 12 to Aug. 9, 2012. Pre-show starts at 8:30 p.m., with movies starting at dark. The schedule of movies:

July 19 – The Artist (PG-13)
July 26 – Puss In Boots (PG)
Aug. 2 – “Annual Retro Night” -- Smokey & The Bandit (PG)
