Thursday, June 21
Books N’ Nibbles, 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. – a book discussion group for grades one through three. Guests will discuss, "Sarah, Plain and Tall," by Patricia MacLachlan. Books for the current discussion can be picked up at the checkout desk. No registration required.
Friday, June 22
Library eBooks for Nook, 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. – Learn how to navigate the library’s eBook collection and download titles to the Nook. Participants should bring a Nook, Barnes and Noble registration email and password, USB cord and library card to the class. Registration is required.
Tuesday, June 26
Free Computer Classes at the Chili Public Library - Introductory internet and email classes are hosted on the second and fourth Tuesdays of the month. Classes start at 9:15 a.m. and run for about one hour. Registration is required.
Charlie and Checkers - Summer Reading Kickoff, 11 a.m. - In their "Learning to Dream" show, Charlie and Checkers will demonstrate magic, juggling, unicycling and a giant balloon stunt. Trixie, their live bunny, will also be there. All ages are welcome and no registration is required.
Junior Friends, 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. for ages 11 to 17. The library will be hosting "Junior Friends" for those interested in helping expand the teen collection, volunteering in the community and in the library or meeting other young adults who share these interests.
