On Thursday, June 28, all three Rochester-area UNO Chicago Grill locations will be hosting a fundraiser to benefit Pitty Love Rescue in its efforts to find loving, responsible homes for pit bulls.
Supporters who either come in to dine or place a take-out order on this day at one of the locations have the opportunity to donate up to 20 percent of proceeds from their check directly back to the organization by asking for a voucher at the restaurant.
Founded in 2008, Pitty Love Rescue is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to finding homes for pit bulls. The group also serves to dispel myths regarding the breed, and has in place a rigorous, responsible screening process to ensure the dogs find proper, committed families to care for these dogs. Proceeds raised from the fundraiser will go to toward the care of these dogs while in foster care, which includes nursing them back to health, spaying/neutering, microchipping and full veterinary care.
