The Chili Public Library has released the event schedule for June 7 through June 14.
The American Girl Club meets from 4-5 p.m. Thursday, June 7. Children ages 6-12 are welcome to attend the club, which presents stories, crafts and games related to the American Girls series. The club will discuss "Meet Marie-Grace" by Sarah Masters Buckey.
Also on Thursday, a "Library E-books for Kindle" workshop will meet from 6:30-7:45 p.m. Registration is required by signing up at the library or calling 585-889-2200. Participants will learn how to use the library's e-book collection and download borrowed e-books for the Kindle. Attendees should bring their Kindle, as well as their www.amazon.com username and password to class.
"Tail Waggin' Tutors" meets from 6:30-7:30 p.m. June 11. Children are invited to read books aloud to therapy dogs. Shy and reluctant readers are especially encouraged to participate, as the dogs love to listen.
An online book discussion for teens will be held from 3-4 p.m. June 13. The group will meet virtually via the library's online discussion board to discuss "Princess Academy" by Shannon Hale.
