The Rochester Flute Association will present Duo Damiana to perform works by Paganini, Takemitsu, Karg-Elert and Stockhausen at 8 p.m. Nov. 11, 2016 at the Hochstein School of Music and Dance, 50 N. Plymouth Ave., Rochester.

Duo Damiana includes flutist Molly Barth and guitarist Dieter Hennings. Barth will be the keynote flutist of the RFA flute fair from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 12 at Martha Brown Middle School, 665 Ayrault Road, Fairport. The fair will include vendors, masterclasses and the RFA Flute Fair Competition Winner’s Recital.

Barth’s primary musical interest is contemporary chamber music. She is currently involved with three ensembles, is a founding member of contemporary ensemble Eighth Blackbird and is a teacher at the University of Oregon.

Dieter Hennings has been an assistant professor of music at the University of Kentucky since 2009. Hennings also curates the UK International Guitar Series.

Duo Damiana focuses on broadening the repertoire for flute and guitar.
