Geva Theatre Center, 75 Woodbury Blvd., Rochester, will present “Private Lives” written by Noel Coward and directed by Mark Cuddy from March 21 through April 16.
“Private Lives” follows divorced couple Eloyt and Amanda who discover their suites are adjacent to each other during their honeymoons in the French Riviera with their new spouses. Coward’s comedy explores the fine line between love and loathing after sparks fly, reigniting a passion between Eloyt and Amanda that is too powerful to fight.
The cast features Bill Christ, Jenny Leona, David Andrew MacDonald as Eloyt, Monette Magrath as Amanda and Alexis Russo. The design team includes Nicholas Dorr, scenic design; Gregory Gale, costume design; Derek Madonia, lighting design; Dan Roach, sound design; Bettie O. Rogers, wig and hair design; and fight choreographer David S. Long.
