Spencerport Community Chorus and Brockport Symphony Orchestra will present two performances of “Voices of Red, White and Blue” on March 25-26.
The March 25 performance will be at 7 p.m. at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 14 State St., Brockport. The March 26 performance will take place at 3 p.m. at Cosgrove Middle School, 2749 Spencerport Road, Spencerport.
The concerts, directed by Darla Bair and Jonathan Allentoff, will showcase WXXI’s Classical 91.5 host Brenda Tremblay as narrator, along with pianist Sally Martin and guests from Amadeus Chorale.
The program will highlight works written by American composers, including selections from Broadway and Hollywood, patriotic songs and unknown pieces.
Admission and parking are free, with a $5 suggested donation accepted at the door. Canned items for Brockport Ecumenical Food Shelf will be collected March 25 at St. Luke’s. Attendees will enjoy a dessert reception after both concerts.
