My grandfather knew practically everyone in the town of Greece and Greece certainly changed some since Gramp's time, but in more ways than size.

I suspect today some residents don't even know their next-door neighbor. Though I don't live in Greece, I must plead guilty to the later charge. Except for a few helpful neighbors, I wouldn't recognize most of my neighbors if I should pass them on the street, and if it wasn't for my battered old baseball hat, they wouldn'g recognize me either.

It's sad because so many close, happy friendships are lost because of this modern-day age of indifference. Too bad.
