Keuka College's men's basketball team seemed poised for a road win against Cazenovia College on Wednesday, Feb. 7.
The Storm was only down six points at halftime, but a difficult second half doomed the Storm in a 77-52 North Eastern Athletic Conference loss.
Tyler Hixson scored 10 points for Keuka College (5-15, 5-8 NEAC), which shot only 32.8 percent from the field and was down 29-23 at the break.
Conor Boyer, a former East Rochester standout, grabbed 10 rebounds, while former Gates-Chili star Brian Cunliffe pumped in nine points.
The Wildcats (6-15, 3-9) got a huge lift from Bryant Winans, who drilled six threes and finished with 24 points. Matt Perry clicked for 13 points.
The Storm will try to bounce back on Saturday, Feb. 11, when it battles SUNYIT.
