  • Chili man Evan Briody has been accused of being a "major supplier" of cocaine and prescription pills.
    Briody, 26, of 29 Minuteman Trail, Chili, was one of 50 others targeted during drug raids Oct. 5 in Orleans County. The raids follow a yearlong investigation.
    Briody was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and third degree criminal possession of a weapon.
    Also charged in Monroe County were: Deloris Mitchell, 21, of 49 Clinton Street, apt. 2, Brockport, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance; and Anthony Boyle, 23, of 7426 West Ridge Road, Brockport, was charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
    Police seized hundreds of prescription narcotic pills, crack cocaine, heroin, marijuana and over $30,000 in cash.
