Deputies from the Monroe County Sheriff's Office are searching for a stolen truck and trailer in Hamlin that contained 350 Christmas trees.
Officers responded to Walker Lake Ontario Road in Hamlin around 7 a.m. Wednesday for the report of a stolen vehicle and attached trailer containing 350 Christmas trees.
The 2011 Chevrolet pick-up truck was attached to a 2003 black cargo box trailer and backed into a driveway at the farm residence. They were stolen between 11:55 p.m. Tuesday and 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
The Douglas-fir trees are valued at over $12,000.
The truck is gray and bears a New York State registration of 22081JP. The trailer is eight feet high and 28 feet long bearing New York State registration BC485OZ. The trailer is all black and "Niagara Landscaping" is inscribed on the rear ramp door with a phone number beginning with area code (716) .
