The Monroe County Green Fuel Station on Scottsville Road soon will share services with Monroe Community College, the county Water Authority, and other local public corporations.
Under the intermunicipal agreement, Monroe County will establish a pricing structure for its several grades of alternative fuels.
The agreement, which was approved unanimously by the Legislature, will also cover fuel increases and/or decreases, which will be renewed annually.
The agreement, which includes the sharing of machinery and tools and equipment, runs through Dec. 31, 2033.
The county also shares the station with the city of Rochester and several local towns and villages.
The station includes a hydrogen fuel cell station, E-20 and E-85 ethanol fuels, B-20 biodiesel, compressed natural gas and liquid propane gas.
